Long Bio

A Serial Entrepreneur:

Nathan’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1999. The business didn’t evolve into his vision, but in 2004, his faith started him on another journey. For 14 years, spanning 2004 to 2018, Nathan birthed Dream Big Community Center.

Under his visionary guidance, over 3,000 students embarked on journeys of self-discovery, empowered by Nathan’s custom-designed curriculum, Dream Big 101, aimed at unearthing their dreams. He authored the self-published Scared to Be Me to ensure all his students had practical examples directly related to his experiences.

Nathan created relationships with small and large businesses, such as Round Table Pizza, Portland Trail Blazers, Rachel’s Challenge, Best Buy, Target, and Barnes & Noble, among others. Harnessing the art of grant writing, sponsorships, fundraisers, and personal appeals, Nathan secured nearly $200k.

While starting his new nonprofit consulting agency, that quickly transformed it into a marketing agency. Nathan began his journey as an adjunct business professor at Clark College in 2015.

His College Experience:

Nathan’s philosophy on education reflects from his childhood demons once doubted his academic ability.

“I never thought I was smart enough to go to college, so I did everything else but go to college because I didn’t think it was possible for me to earn a college degree. Walking through those doors was the best decision I made. That’s also where the entrepreneur within was born.”

“I thought I was going to O-Dog from Menance to Society.”

During his tenure at Clark College, he created the Entrepreneur program from a student-led club and Clark Entrepreneurs. In his role, he oversaw the creation of networking events, an open-campus  event with Dr. Eric Thomas, pitch competitions, and entrepreneurial field trips.

A testament to his dedication, Nathan initiated the Clark Pitch Fest for three years which fostered students’ business dreams through mentorship, funding, and exposure.

Podcasting

In 2016, Nathan’s started Social Entrepreneur with Nathan A Webster, before it came Let’s Talk Marketing with NDUB. Initially, designed to raise awareness about nonprofits, but it turned into his desire to help small businesses with their marketing strategy. With other marketing gurus, Nathan’s focus on marketing concepts and fundamentals creates another tool he gives out for free. Today, he has over 250+ episodes focused on consulting, marketing and websites.

My passion is to help others, but help them to build, create, expand, scale, and sustain their hard work within their business. Typically, this results in consulting key leaders with my expertise in marketing and business development. Therefore, my podcast needed to evolve too.

I love seeing how the right marketing plan can make all the difference. In my experience, I haven’t seen any two companies with the same marketing strategies to get the same results. For example, franchise restaurants within the same metropolitan have to deal with multiple and different demography issues within a 10-mile radius.
