3 Questions to Ask Yourself When Considering a Rebrand

Chances are if you are thinking about rebranding your business, something isn’t working. Perhaps you aren’t getting as many clients as you would like, or maybe its just that something doesn’t feel right. Regardless, rebranding is a big deal. So before you pick up the phone and call your favorite branding experts here are three questions to consider first. Know these answers before you make your move.

1) How have I changed?
Has your product changed? Have you discovered something about yourself that you didn’t previously know? Perhaps you have received important feedback recently. Take some time to write it out. What are the ways you have changed personally and as a company?

2) How have my customers changed?
Sometimes when you start a business you have an idea of who your clients will be, but the reality can be very different. If you find yourself a few years in, and your clients aren’t who you expected, revisit your customer avartar as a jumping off point.

3) Should I change my content?
If you aren’t receiving engagement with your content, the answer is yes. There is no shame in changing your content game. Content needs to evolve, just like you and your business do. Don’t be afraid to try something new. And most importantly, don’t be afraid to swing and miss.

I have worked on marketing many different businesses in my 11+ years in the field. Although I have experience with many types of media, my favorite is still the written word. It is exciting that the world of content marketing has helped businesses communicate their passion with words and pictures in a way that clients understand a company before they ever do business! With a keen eye for tone and presentation, I bring creative, goal-orientation, and masterful writing skills to all my projects. In my free time, I love to tackle interior design projects, take long meditative walks, read, and binge watch television series.
