Introducing Biig Flavor

As I’ve already mentioned, we–as in Megan and I–wanted to do something new that was entertaining for all involved, but the goal to find some good fried chicken and be in a super cool chill spot to do work was why we started this adventure.

Initially, I used this Eater article to get me by for a starting point. When I spoke with Megan about this project, she liked it and we were game to start.

So much to look at, especially food. It all looks so yummy.

So much to research. Hearing that Portland was a national hotspot for food a few years ago, I was shocked. I was like, “how did I miss this?”

It was a little bit overwhelming as we perused the restaurants, but in a good way because we’re both foodies. This is where we could marry both joys of food and marketing together, especially with finding a good fried chicken spot in Portland, OR. In the process, we’re going to look for other delicious food in the great Pacific Northwest.

Portland, OR’s Vancouver, Not Canada

Being that we’re in Vancouver, WA (a suburb of Portland), we’re going by the best digital search results, online branding, how many hits on SERP’s (aka, search engine result page), social media presence, and website experience.

Ultimately, we want to highlight the company that has the best SEO, SEM, branding and digital presence to get us to their location was the question. Hence, which means will earn our hard-earned money. Living in a small town like Vancouver (#vanwa) has its perks, but the food isn’t one of them. We constantly have to say Portland and not Canada, but that’s a whole other conversation/article.

To get started, I had to go to Target and find some equipment for the cameras.  It’s just us for now. We’re keeping this “bad boy” low budget, so don’t expect anything polished or fancy. We’re keeping it simple.

We’re going to do our best as foodies and brand consultants, so enjoy our adventures.
