It’s uncommon to hear, “I don’t charge for ________ service” especially when that business is an entrepreneur or startup organization. My Business 101 students listened to Bruce Elgort and dropped a lot of great information while telling his story.
Learn how it’s not always about the money. I get it. Money pays the bills, but it doesn’t build the company.
Money is important, but it’s not the business. As a business owner, the #1 investment is you.
Money is transactional. You’re relational. Relationships have the most value.
Before you’re ready to take someone’s money, please make sure it’s significant.
