Every Professional Needs to be on LinkedIn
Every Professional Needs to be on LinkedIn
This topic can be hard for all generations. I keep seeing professionals and business owners without a LinkedIn profile. It doesn’t make any sense, because we’re all professionals at some level. Let’s not blame it on millennials who are taking over social media, or blame it on the older generations who aren’t good with technology. Millennials are digital natives and the founders of Microsoft and Apple were born in 1955. Age is not a determining factor to why people don’t have a LinkedIn account.
From my perspective, we all need to have a source of income that pays the bill. The new resume is LinkedIn. When I was searching for a job, I used to import my prior experiences into the applications and made it so much more simpler. That was from 2007 to 2010, we’re in 2017. The value in LinkedIn serves as more than just a social media platform, this platform serves as a tool for three key reasons.
- hiring
- promoting
- professional development
I explain the three key reasons in the video. Feel free to comment and share.
I write this because my business is personal because this service is for the advancement of all humanity. My failures and successes are for your gain. No strings attached.
