FFF- Event Management Skills

Since I’ve had the opportunity in 2014, I have loved running events. At first of course, I began by volunteering, brainstorming, setting and taking down. After a few successful events of that, I began to take on events on my own.

Currently I am now the VP of Events for Dream Big Community Center. I make the connections and run the events for Family Fun Nights here in Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR.  I find it really fun and exciting to work with community businesses and families to bring them together.

There’s really nothing better than seen a child or youth get excited at a trampoline park, printing their very own t-shirt for the first time or learning to ice skate. It’s even better when the family members participant in the activites with the kids.

So on this Friday Fun Fact, I got made event management skills.
