There’s no denying life can be both good and bad. We all have ups and downs. But we also have a choice of what we allow into our lives. Since we know negativity lives all around us, why do we allow/invite negative people or emotions in your life?
My answer is simple. At one point, I didn’t believe it would negatively affect me. Boy, have I struck out on that many times. Now, I can’t.
In order to succeed in anything, you have to overcome objections and negativity every single day. Don’t allow such foolishness to corrupt you.
I had a boss once say, “You can’t be mad with what you’ve allowed. As a leader, you set the standards with your team. If it isn’t a problem to you, it’s not going to be a problem to them [the team leaders and members].” After he pointed out a couple examples, I realized how simple it was to allow [fill in the blank] to happen. Now, I take it a step further and use it in my life choices.
Life is too short to allow anything negative in your life. We’ve only been given 24 hours a day, and part of that doesn’t count for the need to sleep. You have to understand nothing negative can be woven into your daily routine. Otherwise, it will become toxic cancer. Your mental fabric should contain positive people, encouraging music, uplifting literature and peaceful engagement.
Every day should include positive verbals in the mirror. You can even get flamboyant with body language. Whatever it takes to not allow any negativity soil your dream. Say the following:
- You can do … [insert the goal]
- I’m able to … [insert a task]
- I will … [insert a milestone]
- It’s not impossible … [insert a challenge]
- Do not get discouraged about … [insert a problem]
I know it sounds cheesy, but you have to do it to stay focused on the positives. You’re going to face multiple oppositions, difficult situations and unfair circumstances. In the midst of it all, maintain a mindset of nothing negative. We all know bad things will happen to you and around you. That’s life.
Life isn’t predictable nor controllable. But why be your own enemy? That’s silly! Learn how to be your own ally. Don’t allow anything negative to derail you from your greatness. Again, life’s too short for that nonsense.
DECREE AND DECLARE
Be a best friend to yourself. Nothing negative is allowed from this point forward. Now say it.
I pray in Jesus name you won’t allow any negative person, emotion, event or situation to keep you from your greatness. Now live out your dream.
I write this because my business is personal because this service is for the advancement of all humanity. My failures and successes are for your gain. No strings attached.
