First off, my apologies for those keeping up with me on a weekly basis. I haven’t done a great job with this weekly blog- but I’m still going. This is a true lesson for me. Life still goes on, and so I too must keep going.
I’m still going through with my plans from my 2016 race schedule. I’m signed up for the Shamrock Run and Portland Marathon, which can be the most difficult and spendy. Well, both are paid for and I’m training for them because I’m still going. We’re not turning back.
So far, I’ve been going out for 3 mile strides (walking and running) at 5:00 am. My time isn’t the best to my standards. Matter of fact, I hate seeing 44 minutes. That’s double what I used to run them 20 years ago in the Marine Corps. My goal is to get back to that type of shape. It isn’t going to be easy, but I’m determined. I’m still going in the direction of progress.
I. Can. Do. This!
For anyone reading this that’s not sure if they can do it, I’m still going and it’s not easy. The destination is still a ways away, but I’m still going. You have to keep going. I never regretted a workout, which I why I’m still going. You can do it too! KEEP GOING!!
When I look back at my year, I’m going to relish in this victory. These triumphs are mightier because of the significance behind the purpose. Looking back towards history will NOT move you forward. No could of’s, should of’s, or would of’s. No regrets. Make every day matter towards your dreams.
I write this because my business is personal because this service is for the advancement of all humanity. My failures and successes are for your gain. No strings attached.
